To the question of the use of weapons by the staff of penal system and requirement to their professional qualities

Serving in the security units of the Federal Penal Service of Russia goes in extreme conditions, and imposes special requirements to the professional qualities of employees. Giving authority (the use of physical force, special means, firearms and other), the state imposes on prison personnel huge responsibility for the expedient use of this provision. It is therefore necessary to psychological work (diagnostic measures), special training sessions under the training of employees of bodies and establishments executing punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty.
