Features of manifestation of tolerance of employees in various areas of professional in federal services subordinate Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation
Tolerance is the absence of a negative reaction of an individual in all those cases when it
is possible and expected by an external observer. The problem of tolerance is the problem
of the individual restraining the negativity in evaluation, in relation, in motivation. The main
thing here is to stop perceiving the difference as a disadvantage. The basis of the empirical
research was adopted the characteristic differences between tolerant and intolerant
individuals, proposed in G.V. Beaulieu, S.K. Bondareva and G.M. Shelamova. The aim
of the study was to study the psychological characteristics of tolerance of employees of
subsidiary Federal services of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation employed
in various spheres of professional activity.
The results of the study can be used by psychologists in practical work. On its basis
an approach to a comprehensive study of tolerant personality traits in professional
selection and employees can be formed; practical recommendations could be developed
by psychologists of subsidiary Federal services of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian
Federation for the prevention of employee intolerance.
Based on the results of the study and their comparative analysis it is possible to argue
that bailiffs are more sociable, they are characterized by social enterprise, the manner
of communication is active, and not reduced to passive empathy, more tolerant of other
people’s beliefs and values, even if they are different and opposite to their own opinion,
however, they tend to strive to remake, re-educate their interlocutor, they want to fit people
for themselves, make them comfortable. Employees of the guard and escort Department,
on the contrary, in a situation of communication prefer to remain invisible, skeptical of
the intentions of others, lack understanding of their feelings and desires, tend to blame
others. Bailiffs proved to be more tolerant.
