Social conditionality of the special criminally-legal status of law enforcement officers

The article examines the impact of social factors on the criminal legal status of law enforcement officers acting as victims and subjects of crime. The authors conclude that it is necessary to extend the legislative provisions on the responsibility of officers in the bodies of internal affairs to representatives of all law enforcement agencies, as well as the dual role of the factor of public consciousness in determining the legal status of the employee: when determining the status of the victim, it is secondary, while determining the status of the subject of the crime is the dominant one.
