Some certain issues on the protection of human rights according to the criminal and the criminal-executive legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The article discloses different aspects of penal
policy mitigation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, i.e.
the following issues are under consideration: the
abolition of capital punishment, the introduction
of some new criminal penalties which are alternatives
to the deprivation of liberty, the reduction of a
punishment for some sorts of crimes, adjusting the
prison conditions in accordance with the international
standards. Besides that the certain criminal
procedure institutions such as the termination of
criminal proceeding for reconciliation of the parties,
the actual repentance and the remedial justice.
