Peculiarities of formation of ecclesiastical jurisdiction in penal policy of the XVIII–XIX centuries
The article deals with the legal and judicial process of secularization of the Church, which changed the legal status of the Russian Orthodox Church in a large extent. This is reflected in the practice of church disciplines. The contradictory nature of the modernization of the church discipline appeared in the same time in the state punitive interest and maintaining the Christian tradition of its content.
