Point of Representation of a Minor Victim in the Criminal Process

The article analyzes the legal regulation of legal and contract representation of a minor
victim in a criminal process. Criminal procedure standards are analyzed that define the rules
of representation permission of a minor in a criminal procedure and the circle of persons
who may be admitted as representatives. The standards’ deficiencies are indicated in
the article including some ruling contraventions of the Russian Federation Constitution’
norms. The guarantee’s raising of minors’ rights who have no their representation in a
criminal process and their interests’ protection are investigated in the article.
