Personality disorder convicted in penal practice
The authors has provided long-term results of a comparative study of convicts serving their sentences and those who have not previously prosecuted (control group). It is shown that the inmates was 5.5 times more frequent than in the control group of persons identified personality disorder (psychopathy), which play important role in the mechanism of criminal behavior. The majority of surveyed convicted detected violations of mental activity in the form of deficiencies predict their actions. It is concluded that the convicts suffering from personality disorders dissocial, paranoid, epileptic, schizoid type are dangerous to themselves or others, need for compulsory care and treatment by a psychiatrist connected with the execution of punishment aimed at improving mental health.
