Problems of social adaptation of convicts at preparing them for release from correctional institutions
The article deals with the problems of social adaptation of convicts in preparation for their release from correctional institutions. The article notes the necessity of organizational unification of preparing convicts for release and management of their social adaptation in a single prophylactic process, administered by the specialized service in the framework of the penal system. Suggestions have been made to consolidate the Penal Codex of Russia principle of progressive system of punishment, followed by its total reflection in the institutions and norms of the law, detailed regulation of the process of preparing for the release of convicts and other provisions.
