Factors and conditions affecting the professional mentality of the staff of the Federal Penal Service of Russia under its reforming conditions
The article reveals on the basis of questioning data and individual interviews with correctional officers and cadets studying at the Academy of the Federal Penal Service of Russia the influence of different factors and conditions at the implementation of innovations in the Russian penal system, it substantiates that among the determinants of professional mentality the major role plays the subjective attitude of the personnel to the innovations due to their status, length of service, focus on the attributes existing organizational culture, the article offers directions for further researches on the issue of professional mentality of employees of FPS of Russia and improvement of psychological support of personnel at different stages of professional formation.
