Personality characteristics of victims of violent crimes committed by convicts in penal colonies
The article provides a criminological description of the identity of victims of violent crimes in the conditions of serving a sentence in the form of deprivation of liberty in correctional colonies; there is an emphasis on the fact that the prevention of these crimes will be more successful if it is a single process on special-criminological and victimological prevention, during which both causes and conditions are eliminated, convicts are identified from whom it is possible to expect the commission of violent crimes, and appropriate individual- preventive measures with potential victims in order to reduce their victimality level.
