This article denotes in psychology a new version of the “synthetic” systemic description
of information, which is a deductive and theoretical research method. The main tool that is
proposed in the author’s version of the system approach is the concept of a basis, taken
from mathematics and allowing to structure and organize large amounts of information.
The author’s version of the use of the basis method, which is a complete, ordered and
measurable set of symbolic objects, allows you to: 1) verify the completeness of the
system description of information components, 2) organize these components, 3) obtain
a stable description support, 4) use it to correlate different descriptions one and the same
object, 5) detect the commonality of objects of different nature, 6) measure information
(who owns the measure – owns the world of diagnostics). The spirituality of the cadet
of the Vologda Institute of Law and Economics of the Federal Penal Service of Russia is
determined in this work on the basis of a system-based typological method.
A measuring typological basis is a complete, ordered, and measuring set of types.
Using this basis in psychology is checking it for typological completeness, ordering of
types, and the ability to create a diagnostic technique, in particular figuratively projective
or verbal-numerical (i.e. test).
Keywords: typologization; consistency; three-dimensionality; basicity; professional orientation of the personality; profile; semantic affinity; value orientations; spirituality
