The relevance of the problem is justified by orientation of departmental educational organizations to improve scientific, pedagogical, educational, methodological, organizational support of the education system in the format of the search for innovative forms, methods and tools to ensure its modernization. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the phenomenon of the environment, its types, information-digital environment as a factor in the effective training of officer personnel. The authors give a definition of the concept of information-digital educational environment, which, according to their statement, allows not only to effectively implement educational programs, but also to achieve positive results in the formation of professional competence and personality development of the future officer. The positive effect of using digital technologies in the educational process is noted, a comparison is made with traditional educational resources, and certain difficulties due to the specifics of military service are examined. It is shown that the modern educational process is difficult to imagine without digital technologies, which actualizes the presented study in the format of searching for digitalization opportunities for the training future officers, including by creating an information-digital environment.
